This opportunity is now available to join our Farming Systems Innovation directorate. We are seeking candidates that are enthusiastic, self-motivated and have demonstrated experience in agricultural climate research.
As a Research Scientist you will apply your knowledge of current, seasonal, and future climate to inform government, industry, and grower strategic and seasonal decisions. You will collaborate with agricultural stakeholders on Western Australia agricultural needs, as well as State and Commonwealth agencies. Working with a wide range of data types, from online weather monitoring to spatial data sets, and providing leadership and support in the development of modelling domains and data needs for DPIRD’s meteorological and climate change research.
