Regular Venues:
1. University of New South Wales - School of Physics, Room 64, Old Main Building (K15)
Maps of the UNSW campus are here. Parking is available on campus (fees apply) in the Barker Street parking station, and free parking on Barker Street is also an option. Use the Gate 14 entrance on Barker Street. The Old Main Building is directly opposite the gate.
2. Macquarie University - Room 143, Building E5A
Maps of the Macquarie University campus are here. If arriving by car, the most convenient carpark is E4, the next closest is E1. To reach the carparks, follow University Avenue from either gate, and turn into Eastern Road. Parking fees apply daily from 6:00am until 8:00pm, then parking on campus is free. Fees are $5.00 for up to one hour, $8.00 for up to 3 hours.
3. Bureau of Meteorology - 16th Floor, Corner of 300 Elizabeth, and Foveaux Streets, Sydney
The BoM building is close to Central railway station (Map). Please note that because of security requirements, the main entry door to the BoM building is locked at 6:00pm. It is therefore advisable to arrive by 5:45pm, but someone will come down to check for any late-comers at both 6:00 and 6:15pm. Metered parking is generally available behind the BoM building, in Mary Street parallel to Elizabeth Street.
