2011 Weather Calendar
2011 Australian Weather CalendarThe 2011 Australian Weather Calendar features 13 inspiring photographs of Australian skies and landscapes plus information on the Bureau of Meteorology's new role in monitoring, analysing and forecasting Australia's fresh water resources.
The calendar has been produced each year since 1985 by AMOS and the Bureau of Meteorology as a not-for-profit publication. A small (A4) version is also available for the first time this year.Calendars are available to AMOS members at a discount of $2 on the retail price when purchased by mail-order or over-the-counter at selected bureau offices (refer here ( http://wdev.bom.gov.au/calendar/SalesCounter.shtml ) for a list of bureau sales offices).
Special arrangements are in place for AMOS members wishing to buy calendars by mail-order for the first time. These members must place an order using the special order form and send it to the bureau, in the first instance. The bureau then verifies the membership status, registers the AMOS member as entitled to the $2 discount, and processes the order. In future years, registered members receive the discount when they order directly online or by phone. The mail-order service offers single large calendars delivered in a postal tube, single small calendars delivered in a Jiffy bag, and multiple large calendars in a flat-pack. Calendars can be posted to family, friends and/or colleagues on your behalf, and make an ideal Christmas present.
If you need help to purchase the 2011 edition, please contact the AMOS administrative officer either by email: email@example.com.
