Wanted – New Editor for the Bulletin of the Australian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society

AMOS is currently seeking an enthusiastic member to fill the role of editor of the Bulletin of the Australian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society from 2010. BAMOS is distributed every two months and keeps members informed of current news and activities within the society.
The editor is responsible for the content of the Bulletin, including articles, news items and regular editorial columns. They are also responsible for organizing peer reviews of scientific articles submitted for publication. They must liaise with BAMOS regular contributors, associate editors and the AMOS national council.
The new editor will initially work with the current editor (Stewart Allen) and will have ongoing support from the Editor-in-Chief (Andrew Watkins) and the AMOS Administrative Officer (Susan Karoly).
The position is an excellent way for early-career scientists to become known within the AMOS and broader atmospheric and oceanographic scientific communities. Postgraduate Students are encouraged to apply.
