Call for photographic submissions
Thu, May 1 2008

An exciting feature of the new AMOS website (http://www.amos.org.au)
is the appearance of meteorologically and oceanographically themed
photographs on the front page. These photos are randomly chosen
selections from a pool of member submissions and are rotated each time
a user reloads the AMOS website in their browser. It gives members a
wonderful opportunity to display their prowess behind the lens and to
share any interesting meteorological or oceanographic phenomena they
may have encountered. However, like the current climatic situation, we
are in a photographic drought!

AMOS invites all members to submit their photographs for display. We
will accept any photographs of a meteorological or oceanographic
nature. However, please only submit photographs for which you have
Copyright. We will not accept submissions that have not been
authorised by the photographer. Please provide a digital copy of your
photograph with a one-line blurb that includes the photographers name,
the subject of the photo and the location where the photo was taken.
Photos are preferred in JPEG format with a width of 314 pixels by 150
pixels (or some multiple). Photos that are not of this size may be
altered to fit these required dimensions.

Please submit all photographs to photos@amos.org.au
