2012 AMOS Medal - Call for Nominations

Nominations are now called for the 2012 AMOS Medal.

The AMOS Medal recognises leadership in meteorology, oceanography, climate and related fields, particularly through education and the development of young scientists, and through the building of research environments. In particular, the AMOS Medal is directed to senior scientists who have made a substantial contribution over many years, advancing the science of meteorology, oceanography and climatology through leadership, mentoring and research management rather than personal research. It should be noted that these criteria are complementary to those for the Priestley Medal and Christopher Taylor Award.

All nominations should be emailed to Mark Williams, Chair Awards Committee at mmw@internode.on.net by 31st Aug 2012.
