At the last Melbourne Centre meeting, Mike Manton suggested that we need to re-start a History of Australian Meteorology & Oceanography Group, within AMOS. We already have started adding some sources of historical information onto the AMOS web site, but a more vigorous approach might be useful, including re-starting a History Group. We would need an enthusiastic and energetic and committed convener, if the group was to be viable. Is anyone interested in joining such a group (if we started it up) and convening the group?
