2010 Art Competition Details
Competition Conditions of Entry
Submission
• Entries must be received by Friday, 5 November 2010
• Only one entry per person
• Electronic entries are invited, provided file size is less than 2 Mg in size
• Entries must be submitted to the Administrative Officer either by email: admin_officer@amos.org.au or by post
AMOS, GPO Box 1289, Melbourne, Vic 3001
• Songs may be submitted on CD or emailed as an MP3 file
• All entries will be returned to the artist, provided that you include return postage with your submission or arrange to collect your entry.
Judging Criteria
Entries will be judged on:
• Creativity
• Interest
• How they relate to the themes of atmosphere and ocean
Prizes
• The two winning artists will be notified by email and the results and winning entries published in the AMOS Bulletin
• Each winning artist will receive a cash prize of $50
• The winning entries will be exhibited at the 2011 AMOS Annual Conference, venue and dates yet to be announced
• Each winning artist’s school will receive:
o A book on atmosphere and oceans for their library
o One year free membership of AMOS.
All entries are received on the understanding that they may be used for publicity purposes by AMOS in the Bulletin and Website, and that the two winning entries will be displayed at the 2011 Annual Conference.
