Abstract deadline extended to May 31st 2009

The 5th WMO Data Assimilation Symposium is being held in Melbourne,

5-9 October 2009.

This conference will cover applications in oceanography, meteorology,
hydrology and advances in techniques and formulations of all forms of
assimilation.

The deadline for abstracts has now been extended to May 31st.

Funding is available for students at Australian universities via ARCNESS.
Applications in the form of a cover letter explaining your interest, the
amount of money needed and any co-investment, should be sent to Ms Anne
Micallef ( anne.micallef@mq.edu.au ) and cc'ed to Dr. Peter Steinle (
p.steinle@bom.gov.au )
